Lynne Thomas Gordon is a veteran healthcare executive whose experience also includes academia and a wide spectrum of association involvement. Thomas Gordon joined AHIMA after serving as associate vice president for hospital operations and director of the Children’s Hospital at Rush University Medical Center. Thomas Gordon holds active membership in AHIMA and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). She currently serves as Director of the Board for Association Forum of Chicago; she has served on the information management task force of the Joint Commission and as a governor on the ACHE board.

Ron Hale is currently the chief researcher at Cooraclare Institute, an organization dedicated to exploring the complex issues of information and cybersecurity and providing actionable guidance to help address these challenges. Prior to this Ron was the Chief Knowledge Officer for ISACA, an international association of specialists in information and cyber security, information systems audit and assurance, risk management, and the Enterprise Governance of Information and Information Technology. During his career he has led security innovation programs as an information security manager, researcher, and consultant serving leading enterprises. As the Chief Knowledge Officer Ron led efforts to help ISACA constituents build careers through globally recognized certificate and certification programs that attest to the knowledge and skill required to enable trust in information and information systems. Ron has a masters degree in Criminology from the University of Illinois and a doctorate in Public Policy from Walden University. He has been recognized by the National Association of Corporate Directors, being admitted to the Governance 100, for his work in and promotion of effective governance.

Bob Weidner is President and CEO of the Metals Service Center Institute, a $10 million century old trade association representing producers and distributors of aluminum, carbon and stainless steel. Having joined the association in 2001, he is a fierce advocate for North American manufacturing and the use of industrial metals.

Under his leadership, MSCI has successfully completed a turnaround strategy, grew its revenue from $4 million to $10 million, and transformed its membership – nearly 60% of members at year-end, 2015 weren’t members at 12/31/01. This makeover has included a merger with the former National Association of Aluminum Distributors, and expansion membership category definitions. MSCI has launched numerous new proprietary products and services including: an executive education program at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, several quantitative and analytical tools, and a partnership with the National Safety Council. MSCI is an active member of several Coalitions advocating on behalf of manufacturing and free enterprise. Working with its 30 chapters, MSCI engages in grass roots advocacy and has a joint scholarship program which has granted nearly $5 million to nearly 2,500 children of member company families.

Willy Steiner is the President of Executive Coaching Concepts, an executive coaching services firm dedicated to assisting senior executives in taking their individual and organizational performance “TO THE NEXT LEVEL”. He has provided valuable counsel and executive coaching in Chicago to senior executives throughout his career. He has assisted in meeting diverse organizational challenges such as complex international mergers and divestitures, blending of distinct organizational and national cultures, and supporting growth in international markets.

Willy fine-tuned his skills in leading organizational change, building high performing teams and in devising innovative incentive systems with General Electric, RCA Corp., and Galileo International. Assisting executives in driving change by creating urgency, focus and alignment, with a keen eye for the communications implications and insights into the relationships that need to be sustained and cultivated along the way, is an ongoing focus of his work.
